Darting Eyes

If you see someone with shifty eyes, he may be up to no good. Or his shifty eyes may be a sign of NYSTAGMUS,  a condition that involves jerky, involuntary eye movements that usually occur in both eyes. Nystagmus can cause one or both eyes to move back and forth, up and down, or even around in circles. The eye movement may be constant or episodic and last for a few minutes to several hours. Unless it affects their vision or others mention it, people with nystagmus may be unaware of having this condition.

Nytagmus can be a sign of Grave's Disease, as well as a sign of inner ear disorders such as Meniere's Disease. And it can also sometimes signal more serious conditions such as a stroke or brain tumor.
