Bluish Gray Teeth

Many people are aware that taking the antibiotic tetracycline during pregnancy can cause a baby's teeth to come in discolored. The  discoloration can also happen to children who take tetracycline when their permanent teeth are forming. Bluish gray stains in an adult may, however, be a sign of long term use of minocycline, a type of tetracycline often prescribed to treat acne and rheumatoid arthritis. Gray teeth can also be a telltale sign of damaged dentin from a previous infection.

While an aspirin a day may protect your heart, it may be bad for your teeth. Indeed, tooth erosion can be a sign that you have been sucking or chewing, rather than swallowing, the aspirin. When dissolved in the mouth, aspirin can, over time, wear away the teeth's protective enamel.
